When David Gray established Rainbow Sales Distributing, Inc. in 1984, he sought to build a company that could serve store owners and make their lives easier. As a convenience store owner himself, he knew how tough the job could be and how hard it was to find distributors he could count on. So after setting off on his own, he began serving clients in northern Wisconsin and on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Following in her father’s legacy, Jenny rose up and continued to build and grow the company following the principles set by her father’s foundation. After years of commitment and bringing the best for Rainbow’s customers, the business and legacy carries on with the third generation.
In 1989, David sold his own convenience store to focus full-time on distribution, employing his wife, nephews, cousin, brothers, and sisters to create a true family business and expand the company’s reach in Wisconsin.
After attending college and receiving BA degrees in marketing and business management, Jenny returned to the company in 2003.
In 2013, after David Gray’s passing at the age of 59, Jenny became company president and focused on adding new product categories. Rainbow Sales now offers a wide range of products while providing exceptional customer service.
Today, with several members of the Gray family running the business, we continue the tradition that began with David Gray himself. We still hold onto our family values of respect, humility, responsibility, and honesty. We have many new members in our Rainbow Family who work hard every day to give you the prices, service, and quality you deserve.

In addition to being the visionary behind Rainbow Sales, David was known as an amazing father, husband, brother, uncle, friend, and boss who encouraged us all to “work hard, play harder.” His unending passion and dedication have left a legacy we are proud to carry on.
